Successful Midterm Event for CARBCOMN at SMAR 2026

Successful Midterm Event for CARBCOMN at SMAR 2026

The CARBCOMN Project reached a major milestone at the SMAR 2026 conference in Dresden (August 26–28).

Our dedicated Minisymposium MS16 (Carbon-negative compression dominant structures for decarbonized and deconstructable concrete buildings) was a success, featuring 12 inspiring paper presentations spread across two dedicated sessions on Thursday, August 27. It was an ideal opportunity to share our research outcomes and future developments with an international scientific audience from across the globe. To kick off our time in Dresden, we also held an Internal Project Meeting on Wednesday, August 26. All consortium partners gathered for an intense session to define our upcoming actions and next steps.

A huge thank you to all the speakers, organizers, partners, and attendees who made this midterm event such a success!
