CARBCOMN kick-off meeting in Ghent

The CARBCOMN project started in good order with a kick-off meeting full of inspiring activities, that took place 8-9 October 2024 in Ghent.

We are proud with a swift start of the CARBCOMN project. This was very much supported by a fruitful kick-off meeting, hosted by coordinator Ghent University. All partners attended this 2-day kick-off event, where we learned to know each other further, tuned on how we will co-work in this project and kick-starting the activities. Moreover we took the opportunity for integration activities, that included a key-note 'Disrupting Concrete Construction' by Prof. Philippe Block (ETH) and a crash course 'Concrete 3D Printing' by Dr. Yi Zhang (UGent).

The photo shows all the CARBCOMN partners gathering around the 3D concrete printer at Ghent University, Magnel-Vandepitte Laboratory, to mark this teaming up moment at the start of CARBCOMN.
